Interracial Relationships

Through this blog, my intentions are to inform others on the issue of interracial relationships while creating an environment that others may respond to my blog with their own thoughts and opinions on the subject. Interracial relationships have been part of the human society for ages and will always be existent. By using this blog I would like to be able to answer the few questions listed below. 1) What, if any, is the causal relationship between interracial relationships and the effects it has on some families? 2) What, if any, is the causal relationship between Christianity and how it effects one's thoughts of interracial relationships? 3) What, if any is the causal relationship between kids with mixed parents and how other kids and adults treat or perceive them? 4) What, if any is the causal relationship between society and its effects on people's thoughts and views on interracial relationships?

I definitely believe that people involved in interracial relationships experience more obstacles in public and in society. However, I don't necessarily believe that the personal aspects of the relationship are any more complicated than other relationships. I also agree that children with mixed parents face certain challenges in life and school that other children may not. As a Christian, I am very interested in some of the questions that you raise and I look forward to reading your ideas about how Christianity has affected these types of relationships.
